Wyoming Board of Acupuncture
Per W.S. 33-49-104: "The board shall meet at least once each year and elect a chairman at the first meeting each year. The board may convene at the request of the chairman or as determined by the board for any other meeting as may be deemed necessary to transact its business. Meetings may be carried out via telecommunications. Three (3) board members shall constitute a quorum."
All Board meetings are open to the public and held according to the Wyoming Public Meetings Act. Anyone wishing to bring a matter before the Board must submit the information in advance, and in writing, in order to be considered. Those requests must be emailed to chelsea.cortez2@wyo.gov
Portions of the agenda may deal with examinations or disciplinary matters, and therefore may be conducted in executive session not open to the public pursuant to WYO. STAT. ANN. § 16-4-405(a)(ii). All votes will be conducted in public session. Additionally, the Board may enter into executive session for legal advice if necessary.
If you wish to attend a meeting and you require reasonable accommodation, please contact the Board staff. Persons may also contact us via Wyoming Relay (TTY) at 1-800-877-9965.
